Physical Therapy

Our physical therapists and physical therapy assistants (PTAs) ask, "What matters to you?" not, "What's the matter with you?"

Our licensed physical therapists and physical therapist assistants (PTAs) work to reduce your pain, restore function, and prevent disability. We strive to improve or restore your mobility through fitness- and wellness-oriented programs.

The terms "physical therapy" and "physiotherapy" are synonymous

A major focus of physical therapy in this setting is rehabilitation of the neck, back, and lower extremity (i.e., hip, knee, ankles foot.) They also focus on regaining balance, upper extremity therapy, and other physical control of your body. No matter the setting, the role of physical therapy in lower/upper extremity rehabilitation, back, and neck rehabilitation is to return you to meaningful participation in your daily activities.

In this setting, physical therapy is certified in Astym Therapy (see specialties)

A simple phone call and/or free screening will let you know if physical therapy is right for you.
